What is the Utah SNAP Fund?

The mission of the Utah SNAP Fund is to manage financial assets held in trust for the benefit of the Beneficiary without compromising governmental or other private benefits.

The Utah SNAP Fund pays for the delivery of individualized services to the person with a disability that have been specified through the development of a professional care plan.

The Utah SNAP Fund in partnership with the Bank of Utah - our investment manager, sees to it that the Beneficiary's assets are appropriately invested.

How does it work?

Support to the person with a disability is provided through two means:

  • A personal care plan
  • Management of a pooled income trust

The Utah SNAP Fund manages a Pooled Income Trust Fund for the benefit of the individual Beneficiaries to:

  • Supplement State and Federal benefits
  • Assist individuals in self-sufficiency
  • Enhance quality of life
